nabbed these images from Design*Sponge's feature of Jen Altman's house. I absolutely love everything about it. From the subtly ornate detailing, to the white ceramic birds in the tray centerpiece. Its all so effortlessly elegant. I'll put up the rest of the photos in a minute. (Oh and check out those nested accent tables, they remind me of something from Brocade Home)

I love when people DIY old furniture and spruce it up to something shiny and new. Its so cost effective, not to mention, I'm all about customization, so the very concept of taking something mass produced and reworking it into something wholly your own is beyond appealing to me.
